Spirit Gate Studio Announces the Release of Jodi Cox’s Young Adult Dieselpunk / Horror Series.

Spirit Gate Studio’s is pleased to announce the release of our new fantasy series NETHER AFTER written by Colorado author Jodi Cox. NETHER AFTER is the first book in the series that will launch in eBook and print in March 2017.

 

Jodi’s series mixes Japanese Shinto monsters and ghouls with the adventure of a good dieselpunk novel.
In the NETHER AFTER were introduced to Fifteen-year-old Faust Thaed. Faust is only a necromancer in training, but he bears the burden of harvesting ghosts for his family. When his mother is mysteriously declared insane, and is abducted by the secret police, Faust sets out on a dangerous mission to find her in the unforgiving netherworld. There is only one problem, World War Six is about to break loose between the ruling families. There are rumors of necromancers performing hideous experiments on the dead they’re sworn to protect. Faust’s loyalties and powers are about to be tested, and if he’s not careful about who he trusts, he may find himself sealed in the Asylum of the Damned for all eternity.
